David E Shaw joins Modern Meadow board of directors

Modern Meadow applies advances in tissue engineering to develop novel biomaterials to address pressing global challenges.

And I am joining the company’s board of directors following a successful Series A financing led by Horizon Ventures based in Hong Kong.

In addition to the company’s work on cultured leather, it is developing certain cultured food products including a cultured steak chip.
