National Geographic Society Hubbard Council and Impact Story Lab: Advisory Council

It was an honor in October of 2023 to be appointed to the Advisory Council of the National Geographic Society’s Impact Story Lab and to the Society’s Hubbard Council.  

The Impact Story Lab helps our National Geographic Explorer community to harness the power of strategic storytelling to supercharge the impact of their work.  I attended the Impact Story Summit in Los Angeles in January and was impressed with the power of our work.   Never in the 135 year history of National Geographic has it been more important to bring science, exploration, and education to a wider audience and inspire others to care about our planet and take action to protect it.
