Aubrey Watkins III appointed Shaw Family Endowed Vice President of Corporate Development – The Jackson Laboratory

As chair emeritus of The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), with a relationship extending over more than 30 years, I’m pleased to share news that Aubrey Watkins III, Ph.D., M.S., has been appointed the inaugural Shaw Family Endowed Vice President of Corporate Development. The establishment  of this position supports our quest to improve human health through genetics research.

In this key new role, Aubrey leads JAX’s corporate development initiatives, including researching and analyzing business opportunities, forging connections with prospective partners and potential customers and exploring business models to amplify JAX’s presence in the field of biomedical research and beyond.  Welcome Aubrey Watkins.
