David E Shaw awarded honorary degree from Colby College

It was an honor to celebrate graduation with the Colby College class of 2012 and to be the recipient of an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

I have returned to Colby on several occasions as a guest lecturer on business and social entrepreneurship. In July 2013 I joined a dedication event for the amazing new art museum expansion funded by our friends Peter and Paula Lunder, and the Alfond family.
